À table – vidéo 360°
For people who leave far from home, as in my case, nostalgia is always present, both in relation to the place itself and in relation to all those everyday things that are absent. Dishes can be a source of comfort, bringing out memories of the past. The «A table» project allows to visualize these scenes of daily life that can miss me. Two spaces were built: My «home», in Korea and the place where I currently feel at home, since I left. They tell each of these memories around a table. Spectators are invited to immerse themselves in these universes, to explore them in detail, in their own way.
Task
Creating a medium that can freely move between two spaces where I feel nostalgic
In this digital-connected world, one thing that we cannot replace is “meeting”.
we can call, we can write, but we want to embrace the beloved one in our arms.
To fulfill this wish, this 360° video show if we could just turn our heads and go to wherever we want.
All things hold fragments of memory, and exist as a result of emotions. Even really ordinary things have a reason to exist there.
All of this becomes part of a small but important memory
